The short version
Dropframe DV collects nothing. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no servers. Nothing you record leaves your device unless you choose to share it yourself.
What the app accesses
- Camera. Used to show the viewfinder and record video. Frames are processed on your device and are never transmitted.
- Microphone. Used to record audio alongside video. Audio is processed on your device and is never transmitted.
- Photo library, add only. Used to save finished recordings. The app requests add-only access, so it cannot read, browse or modify anything already in your library.
What is stored
Your camera and display preferences are stored on your device so the app opens the way you left it. Recordings are written to your photo library. That is all. There is no cloud component and no identifier of any kind is generated, stored or transmitted.
Third parties
Dropframe DV contains no third-party SDKs, no analytics frameworks and no advertising libraries. No data is shared with anyone, because none is collected.
Children
Dropframe DV is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Your rights
Data protection law gives you rights of access, correction and erasure over personal data held about you. Since no personal data is collected or held, there is nothing to access, correct or erase. Deleting the app removes its stored preferences from your device.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the revised version will be posted here with an updated date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
